Looks like the long awaited iPhone Software Developers Kit is going to be late. It was promised for February, but rumor has it that it will out Mid-March at best. This is the handy little tool will allow programmers to make applications and games for the iPhone, and then sell them via iTunes. We'll wait and see. Well at least the lawyers can make some money while we get another example of the problems inherent in running a public company these days. Note to shareholders. If you're unhappy with the directors you elected, pick new ones. The idea of getting a judge or jury to change corporate policy, if they're not breaking the law, is stupid and wasteful. But hey it's great for lawyers, and since they seem to make the rules, go figure… Wisemapping is like mind mapping on steroids. Do you use mindmaps? They're a great way to help you think and organize your thoughts. And you can do them with groups, too – they foster better brainstorming and puts everything in a format that's easy to view and understand. Now, Wisemapping offers a free, easy to use web interface for making mind maps, and you can embed them in your own web page ala YouTube, and invite others to contribute. DoubleTwist, the new app we told you about last week, allows you to share your music – and videos and photos — regardless of the format. For example, it re-records iTunes songs as MP3's so they work on any digital media player, not just iPods. Now, we have a link to a tutorial that takes you through it. Free and easy to use — you can't beat that. And they even have a Facebook widget. Live Video is another live video streaming service joining the bevy of applications like BlogTV and Yahoo Live. This one was created by MySpace founder Brad Greenspan. It has some pretty unique features that raise the bar a bit, including the ability to archive live videos to show them at a later date.
