| Salford Lads Club has hosted many interesting exhibitions recently. The Club become famous around the world when the cult group The Smiths posed for photos outside the door, then came back to make a video around the surrounding streets. However, this year, 2007, has seen photos, name and memorabilia from 1967 when the local newspaper called Rudman Street 'The Street of a 1,000 Children'. Why? Listen and find out more. |
