| Human trafficking is a human rights violation of epidemic proportion. Trafficking places individuals in extremely vulnerable circumstances where their basic human rights are violated, including the rights to life, liberty, personal security, privacy, mental and physical integrity, freedom from slavery, and freedom from torture and other forms. |
