This video was shot from the cockpit of the C-2A Greyhound airplane that I was flying in. It lands on the deck of the Nimitz class nuclear powered aircraft carrier, the Harry S. Truman. After the plane lands, the tailhook grabs and the speed goes from around 150 mph to 0 in two seconds.
This is the plane that flew me to the Harry S. Truman. It's the COD (Carrier Onboard Delivery) workhorse for the Navy. It carries mail, people and supplies out to the ship and and back.
