Welcome. My name is Christian and I am the author and facilitator of the Embracing Change Experience. There are many personal development retreats to choose from, so I am going to clearly identify what this event has to offer and how it differs from other programs. Although this brochure can't fully transmit the power and beauty of this Experience, I hope that it will trigger a desire in you to explore our work further by either talking to me personally, exploring our website or listening to our information materials.
Firstly, I want you to know that the weekend is an experiential event. This means a hands-on interactive approach using a rich selection of heart opening activities. During the weekend I share the revolutionary model of healing and connection known as Heart Circle, which becomes the foundation for the retreat. Although some of my delivery is conceptual (20%), we will explore this model by actually creating and experiencing a Circle rather than merely talking about it. This way, you will not only experience the transformative power of this work, but you will begin to learn how to apply it in your own life.
Secondly, I guarantee an experience of unparalleled safety. Our organization limits the number of spaces for any event to twenty participants, which includes me and my team. In addition, I deliver the Experience in carefully selected homes, not conference centers or hotels. Time is also spent establishing clear agreements and boundaries. While in circle together, we do not confront one another with our judgments and opinions. We give space to share the different parts of our personality so that they can be nurtured and therefore healed.
Heart Circle is a model developed by Tej Steiner who has spent the last 20 years facilitating and experimenting with small group dynamics. Heart circles represent the most efficient, powerful and yet simple technology available today to deliberately create your reality. It works by creating what is called a ‘resonant field' between a small number of like minded individuals sitting in circle together. This field acts as an amplifier to your thoughts and feelings. Unlike group intention or prayer, specific strategies are taught and coached within the circle that achieve extraordinary levels of awareness and experience of your heart's ‘wants' and desires.
The critical combination of focusing your thoughts (where you place your attention), your capacity to be aware of your feelings (your guidance system) and the availability of your emotional energy (your fuel for transformation) is critical if we are to work with the most powerful law in the universe - the Law of Attraction.
Heart Circle Training Day
How can you take the profound connection you will experience in the weekend in to your life and share it with your loved ones? By attending the Heart Circle Training Day. My intention is to provide the basic skills to allow you to begin implementation of this knowledge right away.
This has been achieved by splitting the event into two parts. The first is the Embracing Change Experience which ends Sunday night. This part provides the transformative experience of being in a heart circle with people you love and trust. The second part is our training day that takes place on the Monday just after the Experience. This 8-hour intensive provides clear instruction on how to apply the heart circle model in your life and how to create your own circle with your friends, family, relationship, business or community. I highly recommend this extra training day if you are serious about integrating this model.
Life Support Program
The Life Support program is an optional service that consists of weekly conference calls, presented by myself and my partner, Kim. Each call will provide you with coaching and guidance on how to use the heart circle model in your personal and professional relationships. Each call will contain inspirational insights, stories and exercises to practice at home that will keep your heart circle experience alive! Step 2: Enroll in an Embracing Change Experience
The weekend begins Friday night at 7.30pm and continues all day Saturday and Sunday, with each full day beginning at 9am and ending at 7pm.
The cost of this experience is influenced by whether we include lodging and meals as well as the health of the country's economy we are servicing. As some of our events are residential and some are not, we are unable to give a fixed price that fits all scenarios.
